Iridium’s expert team of seasoned professionals works tirelessly to ensure that the world’s largest commercial satellite communications network delivers the unparalleled reach and reliability customers have come to expect — everywhere on the planet.

Behind the scenes are more than 400 engineers, experts, service technicians and customer support personnel, who are constantly:

  • Monitoring, measuring and analyzing Quality of Service (QoS) metrics, and 
  • Responding to any issues that may occur in space or on the ground

The Iridium ecosystem also includes the more than 275 value-added partners who leverage the company’s unique value proposition to manufacture, develop, market and support innovative applications for their respective markets.

Many members of the larger Iridium team have been involved since the first satellite launch in the late 1990s and posses intimate knowledge about the network. This stability and continuity is critically important as the company prepares to launch its second-generation constellation, Iridium NEXT.
