Bring Internet To Your Crew
SnakeCrew leverages the power of the SnakeBox to bring the internet to your crew while you stay in the pilot’s seat. A fully-featured Internet café service which can be managed either from shore via the cloud or by an administrator on board the vessel. Designed to perform over multiple connectivity options—whatever the bandwidth available.

SnakeCrew is hosted on the SnakeBox—SnakeWays smart shipboard device. As such the SnakeCrew Internet café is entirely independent of existing shipboard networks, operating systems, and other shipboard applications.
- Easy Access

SnakeCrew supports access via any mobile device, tablet, or desktop PC. Wireless access is provided via the standard Wi-Fi router of the SnakeBox. A simple captive portal authenticates user credentials and manages the user account.
- Full Control

User accounts can be credited automatically and manually. Automatic top-ups can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The SnakeCrew Admin can either top up an account directly or issue a voucher which can be used on any account.
- Fully Flexible

SnakeCrew accounts can be managed by an administrator on board the vessel or by an administrator ashore. Either one can create, credit, or delete individual accounts, issue vouchers, and set time limits for access.
- Secure

When integrated with the SnakeWall firewall feature, traffic can be restricted to a shortlist of services like WhatsApp, Line, WeChat and Twitter. SnakeWall can limit access to levels of service where bandwidth is limited.
- Hybrid Ready

Combining SnakeCrew and SnakeWall with the SnakeSwitch routing service allows the administrator to define multiple firewall rules. Rules can be set very tightly for networks with limited bandwidth and automatically open up when bandwidth is more readily available.
