TR130-4G is a stand alone GPS tracking device with integrated Iridium Short Burst Data (SBD) and 4G cellular telematics dual-mode communications terminal that delivers connectivity to assets in fleet management applications moving in and out of cellular range. Fleet managers get the best of both worlds—lower cost data transmission in areas with cellular coverage, and reliable always-on satellite communications over Iridium satellite two-way data service anytime the cellular network is unavailable.

When in the coverage of cellular networks, the TR130-4G terminal uses the cellular frequencies to communicate vehicle location and other vital information. The terminal automatically switches to satellite services when out of cellular reach, ensuring constant visibility and communication.
